U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon Pilots with the 14th Fighter Squadron conducted night flying missions here Mar. 25, 2015. Night flying is regularly performed as a way to ensure pilots have the training required to fly in all conditions and environments. Pilots are required to be combat-ready for rapid deployment and employment in order to meet the challenges of peacetime air sovereignty and wartime air defense. Before takeoff and after landing, pilots work with their crew chiefs to ensure every aspect of the jet is in proper working condition.
