Equipped with buckets, gloves and rubber boots, Airmen and family members from Misawa Air Base came together with the community for the 18th Annual Baby Salmon Release at Oirase Salmon Park, Japan, March 28, 2015. More than 400 people from various groups including Misawa Girl Scout Troop 33, local Japanese schools, the 35th Civil Engineer Squadron and the Oirase Town office participated in the salmon release and clean-up of the park. The annual release is conducted during early spring as part of Earth Day.
