MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Col. Joel Malone, 35th Fighter Wing vice commander, Maj. Gen. Hideo Wakabayashi, 3rd Air Wing commander, and two children from the Misawa schools flip the switches to light up Risner Circle and the water tower during the holiday tree lighting ceremony here Nov. 30. MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- The 35th Medical Group holiday card was chosen as the winner for this year's contest during the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony here Nov. 30. Other honorable mentions included Sollars Elementary, 35th Security Forces Squadron, 35th Aircraft Maintencs Squadron, 610th Air Control Flight and the 35th Fighter Wing legal office.
