MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan --  Tax Center Volunteers: The Legal Office is still looking for volunteers to sign up for this year's tax season. Military members and civilians over the age of 18 are invited to volunteer. This year's tax training seminar will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 22-25 in the Mokuteki Ballroom. The deadline to sign-up for tax training is noon Jan. 18. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Staff Sgt. Alberto Ramirez or Capt. Cold-weather Gear Wear Policy: Woodland Gortex jackets are not authorized for wear with the new ABUs. Only Parkas and ABU Gortex coats are authorized for wear with the ABU. Parkas may be checked out from the 35th Logistics Readiness Squadron. This policy is per the 35th Fighter Wing commander.

Media Training: The 35th Fighter Wing public affairs office is offering media training to all Misawa personnel. Training is held 2 p.m. every Friday in the MEO conference room in Building 507. For more information, call 226-3075.

Holiday Commissary Hours: In observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday, the Misawa Commissary will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 21.
