Where are you from?
Fayetteville , N.C.
What's your favorite thing about being stationed in Japan?
Being a member of the 35 FW/JA "Legal Weasels " Team while enjoying the culture and experiences of Japan.
Who has been your greatest Air Force mentor and what quality about this mentor do you value most?
I honestly would have to say my mentor(s) are those who served before me, and those who are serving now. It takes a tremendous person to accept the responsibilities of being an upstanding private citizen, as well as a volunteer public servant.
What is your primary professional goal at this point in your career?
My professional goal has not changed since I took my first oath of enlistment. It is and shall always be, no matter what capacity I am serving in, to be accountable in life, faith, family and my duties.
Describe the best day of your life.
With the obvious exceptions of getting married to a wonderful woman and having the privilege of doing my part in raising five beautiful girls, the best day of my life would definitely be having the "blessing" of waking up each day and trying to improve on what I did the day before.
What advice would you give to new Airmen?
The best way to become an asset to your unit and mission, is to first be an asset to yourself. Enjoy the opportunities afforded to you by right of what you do; however, understand it's not free. We all owe it to ourselves to continue our learning, growth and maturation. Never stop asking questions, and definitely don't be afraid to be asked a question. That's how you learn.
Supervisor's comment:
Sergeant Brown is the epitome of an NCO in the military. He has imbedded in him a positive natural ability to ensure the mission and its people succeed. He is an outstanding asset to the legal profession and the Air Force.
