Misawa Airman found guilty in court-martial Published July 14, 2009 By Public Affairs 35th Fighter Wing MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan - The second of three 35th Fighter Wing Airmen connected to damaging non-military property off base Feb. 4 was found guilty in a court-martial tried by a judge alone today. Airman 1st Class Jessie M. Holt of the 35th Security Forces Squadron entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced to reduction to the rank of airman basic, 10 months confinement and a bad conduct discharge for violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Charges included one specification of Article 81 Conspiracy, one specification of Article 130 Housebreaking, and two specifications of Article 134 General. Leaders here stress that the high standards set for all Air Force members must be upheld, within our military community and our host nation communities alike. Through the UCMJ process, the facts of this case have been considered and evaluated in an impartial manner to ensure the outcome of this court martial is fair and just. Likewise, base officials cooperate fully with Government of Japan officials to ensure justice for Japanese victims.
