35 SFS armory inspects for mission success

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- The Airmen of the 35th Security Forces Squadron armory inspect, maintain and store a variety of different weapons, radios and ammunition, used to protect the base.

The squadron's mission is to deploy combat-ready for worldwide employment; coordinate base cluster defense operations with the government of Japan and execute integrated base defense operations to safeguard protection level resources. They also protect base personnel, and perform Status of Forces Agreement law enforcement duties for northern Japan.
