Just like people, aircraft do not get much done on an empty tank and Airmen from the 35th Logistics Readiness Squadron Petroleum, Oils and Lubricants Flight ensure the jet's bells are full and happy.

The primary duties of a fuels technician include receiving, storing and issuing petroleum products purchased for use in U.S. Air Force vehicles, aircraft and support equipment used on the flightline and throughout the base.

"My team and I quickly deliver clean and dry fuel to aircraft so they can fly," said Senior Airman Joseph Kerr, 35th Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels technician.
