MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- The U.S. Air Force special unit "Tops In Blue" is scheduled to perform a free show at the Misawa Civic Center, in downtown Misawa City, 15 Nov. at 7:00 p.m.
Tops In Blue, is an all-active duty U.S. Air Force special unit made up of amateur performers selected for their entertainment abilities. The team is composed of 35 to 40 vocalists, musicians, dancers and technicians. Their primary purpose is to perform for military personnel and their families throughout the world.
Get ready to be dazzled as Tops In Blue brings you musical numbers created especially for this year's tour, "Rhythm Nation."
This year, Tops in Blue will be featuring:
Nat King Cole and Billie Holiday's swinging jazz,
The greatest rock and roll hits of Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis,
Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's cool, smooth Motown and Blues,
Songs by no-other than J-Lo and Michael Franti,
Some inspirational country sounds
And much, much more!
Tickets will be distributed to the first 350 people at the Cashier's Cage in the collocated club here 1 Nov.
With the promise of costumes, fun and music, Misawa residents are encouraged to enjoy themselves at this memorable and constantly evolving, annual show!
