What's your favorite thing about being stationed in Japan?
My favorite thing about being stationed in Japan would have to be the Japanese people. It amazes me to see how the Japanese carry themselves on a daily basis with family or while working at their jobs. The customer service the Japanese provide is the best I have ever seen across the globe. My family and I love being stationed here in Japan.

Who has been your greatest Air Force mentor and what quality about this mentor do you value most?
My greatest Air Force mentor is Senior Master Sgt. James Nasto at Misawa Air Base. He always sets aside some time to talk through issues that concern me. It was so valuable to be able to turn to him over the kind of small matters that you would hesitate to bother someone with. He has helped me grow into the strong NCO that I am today. I'm truly grateful for the leadership and friendship he has provided over the years. I will carry them throughout my Air Force career and will provide them to the young Airmen around me.

What is your primary professional goal at this point in your career?
To finish my bachelor's degree, and to make master sergeant the first time.

What motivates you?
What motivates me are my three kids Mackenzie, Madison and Mason. My three M&M's are the best motivation factors I can have in life. They learn, follow, bug and love me every day. They motivate me to be the best daddy I can be.

Describe the best day of your life.
The best day of my life is the day I met my wife Abby in Tucson, Arizona, at my first duty assignment. I was going through a rough time in my life until I met Abby. I'm so thankful she came into my life. Thanks for your love and support. Love you Abby!!!
Also, the moment my kids came into this world. My kids are my rock and soul.

What advice would you give to new Airmen?
Learn to adapt and be flexible. Learn to follow, but be a leader amongst your peers as well. Enjoy your time in the Air Force, the time will fly by...trust me!!!
