MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan --  NONJUDICIAL PUNISHMENTS

A senior airman, was derelict in their duties by negligently failing to accurately document the ammunition inventory. The inventory was considered invalid and had to be re-accomplished resulting in a waste of 1,000 man hours.

Offense Description: A senior airman was derelict in their duties
Violated: Art. 92 - Dereliction of duty
Punishment Imposed:
· Reduction to E-3, suspended
· Forfeiture of $1,000 x 2 months
· Reprimand

Offense Description: A senior airman wrongfully interfered with adverse administrative proceedings
Violated: Art. 134- Wrongful interference
Punishment Imposed:
· Reduction to E-3,
· Restriction 30 days
· 30 days extra duty
· Reprimand

Offense Description: An airman first class wrongfully interfered with adverse administrative proceedings
Violated: Art. 134- Wrongful interference
Punishment Imposed:
· Reduction to E-2, suspended
· Restriction 30 days
· 30 days extra duty
· Reprimand
