Firefighters test response time, readiness during ORE

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan --
U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 35th Fighter Wing participated in a week-long Operational Readiness Exercise at Misawa Air Base, Japan, June 12-19, 2013. OREs are designed to test Airmen on their knowledge of individual duty requirements and proper wartime techniques, and are divided into two phases to assess the wing's capability to deploy personnel and aircraft while reacting to various simulated wartime contingencies.
