The 35 FW/CV has directed an early release for non-mission essential personnel, including both schools, due to inclement weather at Misawa AB. Mission essential status will be determined by unit commanders. All non-mission essential personnel are authorized early release. If further guidance is required, contact your immediate supervisor. You can also tune into AFN Radio, the Commander’s Access Channel 20, call the Misawa Info Line at 226-INFO or check the base website and Facebook page.
The hospital will continue scheduled appointments on a case-by-case basis. Please call the appointment hotline at 226-6111 for more information.
The CDC will close within an hour of early release.
Buses will pick up students at Edgren High School at 1045 and students at Sollars Elementary at 1145.
Please observe winter driving safety precautions, as all roads have been designated mission essential only. Stay off the roads if possible!
The commissary and all AAFES facilities will close at 1 p.m.
