MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan --  The month of November includes seven local and regional events offering attendees opportunities to continue building partnerships among their Japanese neighbors.

Christmas Festa
Date: Nov. 25 – Dec. 25
Location: Central shopping district (alongside the White Pole Road)

Misawa Phantasia
Date: Nov. 22, 2018 – Jan. 14, 2019
Illumination from 4:30 p.m. – Midnight
Location: Nakayoshi Park, Misawa City

Tree lighting ceremony takes place at the park on the evening of Nov. 22.

Rokkasho Industry Festival
Date: Nov. 3, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Maple Town Festival
Date: Nov. 3, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Nov. 4, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: Parking lot west of Rokunohe Town Gym and other locations

The event features local specialty products selling, stage performance and Rokunohe Marathon as an opening event.

Tohoku Town Industry and Culture Festival
Date: Nov. 3 and 4, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Location: Various place (Town gym, town civic center and other locations) in Tohoku town

The event features local specialty, Stage performance, rice-cake pounding and more.

Hacchi Craft Festival
Date: Nov. 23, Noon – 8 p.m., Nov. 24, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Nov. 25, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Festival is full of handmade craft selling and interactive booths.

Tatehana Sunday Morning Market
Date: Every Sunday (from mid-March through December), Sunrise – around 9 a.m.
Location: Tatehana Wharf, Hachinohe City

The event offers more than 300 booths sell fresh sea products, local vegetables, noodles and bread from the oven.
