Blue Impulse
The Blue Impulse, an aerobatic demonstration team from the Japan Air Self Defense Force, flies in formation during Friendship Day at U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, May 5, 2009. Friendship Day is an annual event in which Japanese nationals, U.S. service members, government employees and their families gather to celebrate their long-standing friendship by hosting one of Japan's largest air shows.
