Wild Weasel of the Week: A1C Christian Pak Each week a member of the 35th Fighter Wing is selected as the Wild Weasel of the Week. This individual is recognized based on superior performance, outstanding work ethic, and overall good conduct and discipline. The 35th Logistics Readiness Squadron chose Airman 1st Class Christian Pak, materiel management journeyman, to be their Wild Weasel of the Week. What is your daily mission? I maintain thousands of Mobility Readiness Spares Packages to ensure they are in a constant state of readiness to be deployed world-wide at a moment's notice. I also provide daily logistical support for two air mobility units and 44 F-16 Fighting Falcons by managing six stockrooms consisting of 42,500 critical aircraft assets. What do you enjoy about your job? Constantly completing daily challenges. I always have the opportunity to learn something new. Why did you choose to serve in the Air Force? I grew up in a military family and have always wanted to be part of the military. What is your favorite thing about living in Japan? My favorite things about Japan are the people and traveling. Who has been your best mentor and what have they taught you? All of my supervisors have been great because they've taught me how to perform my daily duties and what it takes to be a leader. How long have you been stationed at Misawa? 19 months How long have you been in the Air Force? 23 months What goals do you want to meet while at Misawa? To learn my job as much as possible and positively influence other people. What goals do you want to meet during your Air Force career? To serve at least 20 years in the military if possible.
