Wild Weasel of the Week: Airman 1st Class Ann Keyser



Each week a member of the 35th Fighter Wing is selected as the Wild Weasel of the Week. This individual is recognized based on superior performance, outstanding work ethic, and overall good conduct and discipline.

The 35th Aerospace Medicine Squadron chose Airman 1st Class Ann Keyser, a Bioenvironmental Engineer Technician, to be their Wild Weasel of the Week.

What is your daily mission?
To ensure that workers in all environments are protected from any work place hazards they may come in contact with. Hazards can vary from biological, radiological, chemical, and nuclear. As BEEs, we help to promote the health and well-being of all Air Force personnel.

What do you enjoy about your job?
Interacting with all kinds of people and different work centers around the base. There is nothing quite like learning new tasks and how every work center contributes to the base's mission.

Why did you choose to serve in the Air Force?
The educational benefits are what caught my eye; however, I choose to stay in because I love my job and the people that I get to meet along the way.

What is your favorite thing about living in Japan?
Culture by far! I love the ramen shops around the base as well as Karinba's Chinese restaurant.

Who has been your best mentor and what have they taught you?
My supervisor, Tech. Sgt. Stephanie Roseboro, has been my mentor since I arrived at Misawa. She has taught me many things through her support and guidance to include how to perform our occupational health and readiness missions.

How long have you been in the Air Force?
Almost 2 years

What goals do you want to meet while at Misawa?
While at Misawa AB, I would like to obtain my Bachelor's degree.

What goals do you want to meet during your Air Force career?
I want to become an expert in my career field while also obtaining my Master's Degree.
