WILD WEASEL OF THE WEEK: AIRMAN 1ST CLASS LEXIS TOPOLY

Each week a member of the 35th Fighter Wing is selected as the Wild Weasel of the Week. This individual is recognized based on superior performance, outstanding work ethic, and overall good conduct and discipline.

The 14th Fighter Squadron chose Airman 1st Class Lexis Topoly, intelligence analyst, as their Wild Weasel of the Week.

What is your daily mission?
My daily mission is to provide tactical level intelligence to pilots and assist in mission planning requirements.

What do you enjoy about your job?
I enjoy constantly learning new things and keeping up with current intelligence.

Why did you choose to serve in the Air Force?
I felt serving in the Air Force was a great opportunity to gain a meaningful life experience and expand my options before heading to college.

What is your favorite thing about living in Japan?
Constant opportunities to travel and seeing new things is my favorite thing about Japan.

Who has been your best mentor and what have they taught you?
First Lt. Austin Davis has taught me how to have a tactical mindset that would fully benefit pilots before going down range.

How long have you been stationed at Misawa?
One year and eight months

How long have you been in the Air Force?
Two and a half years

What goals do you want to meet while at Misawa?
My goals are to continue to strive at work and physical training every day. I would also like to complete more schooling before my permanent change of station.

What goals do you want to meet during your Air Force career?
I want to gain valuable experience during my Air Force career that will help carry me through college and life.
