Many people find it convenient to have a post office box assigned to them prior to their arrival at Misawa. You may receive a post box number up to 90 days before you arrive. To do this, send a copy of your orders to your sponsor. They will take these orders to the post office and assign you a box. The combination to that box, however, will be given only to you upon your arrival. Please note that you must visit the post office within 15 days of your arrival to inprocess and to receive your post box combination.
