Staff Sgt. Colin P. Neisius is a 7-skill level craftsman responsible for using his maintenance knowledge and experiences for teaching and overseeing large maintenance operations, effectively delivering tactical aircraft sorties day in and day out. He leads a flight of other crew chiefs and maintainers in repairing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and generating combat ready safe reliable aircraft.
Sergeant Neisius enlisted in the U.S. Air Force out of Hastings, Minnesota in March of 2019. He completed his tactical aircraft maintenance technical school at Shepard AFB in December of 2020 and has since continued perfecting his craft as an F-16 crew chief. He has traveled the United States and even deployed to the Middle East where his maintenance skills enhanced combat sortie generation, all while building confidence and flexibility while working in adverse and contested environments.
Sergeant Neisius was a part of Operation Inherent Resolve at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia from 2021 to 2022 with an Agile Combat Employment exercise at Al Udeid Air base, Qatar enhancing USAF mission capabilities for coalition forces.
