Staff Sergeant Cassaundra "CAST" Truax

Staff Sgt. Cassaundra J. Truax is the Pacific Air Forces F-16 Demonstration Team propulsion specialist and an F-16 engine technician at the14th Fighter Generation Squadron, 35th Fighter Wing, Misawa Air Base, Japan. She monitors F-16 engine health, leads troubleshooting, and executes engine repairs.

Sergeant Truax enlisted in the Air Force in July 2013, graduated Basic Military Training in September 2013, and completed her technical training at Sheppard AFB, Texas in December 2013. She has held multiple positions as an engine specialist in Idaho, South Korea, and Japan. Prior to Joining the PACAF F-16 Demonstration Team in September 2024, she worked as a Centralized Repair Facility Craftsman for the 35th MXS in Misawa AB, Japan.
