U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcons pilots from the 14th Fighter Squadron, U.S. Navy EA-18G Growlers pilots assigned to the Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 134 and Japan Ground Self-Defense Forces 1st Air Defense Artillery Brigade based out of Okushiri Island, Japan, conduct a pre-brief during exercise Iron Spear at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Oct. 13, 2017. The 1st ADA Battalion mission is to defend Japan against aerial attack aircraft by using surface-to-air missiles systems.
