MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan --

Congratulations to the 14th Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU) load crew members for winning the First Quarter Load Competition and Senior Airman Aaron Flores, 35th Maintenance Squadron (MXS), avionics flight member, for winning the "Jammer" Driver Competition!

These load competitions allow our 13th and 14th AMU load crews to test their ability in providing safe, reliable, timely and effective munitions on aircraft, enabling Misawa to remain mission-capable and deter adversaries in the Indo-Pacific region.

In addition AMU and MXS Airmen were assessed on their abilities to quickly and properly operate an MJ-1 "Jammer" through driving obstacles in a timely manner.
