U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Marcus Hollins, a pharmacy technician with the 35th Medical Support Squadron, placed this saline pouch and medication on a counter before injecting the drug into the pouch for a procedure later that day at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Feb. 4, 2016. The medication, in this case an antibiotic, is injected directly into the saline solution pouch to dilute the medication and ensure the patient receives the correct dosage.
