You got served

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Rayana McConnell, a 35th Force Support Squadron food service journeyman, adds water to frozen corn o’brien at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Aug. 15, 2017. Once the water is added, the side dish will go into the steamer before being served to customers. Exercise Northern Viper 17 brought more than 500 U.S. Marines to Misawa AB, which means more food preparation from the dining facility, among other additional services to offer them while they’re here. Misawa AB would act as a power projection hub if a real-world contingency operation kicked off. Exercise Northern Viper 17 trains Airmen on what to expect with an increased work load.
