Gate Procedures: Additional screening measures have been enacted at all gates. Security Forces and Gate Guards have been instructed to not touch ID cards.
After the Japan Public Health Emergency, all base members (to include anyone who has access to base):.
All personnel and dependents under SOFA status in Japan are expected to follow the USFJ public health order. Failure to comply with this order by U.S. civilian employees or dependents are subject to administrative action.
Military members are expected to report their dependents who travel through areas with confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Travel is permitted in Aomori Prefecture only, with the exception of Hachinohe. Members are not allowed to visit Hachinohe.
All on base gatherings must not exceed over 10 personnel.
The use of facemasks at medical facilities is crucial for the safety of health workers and other people who are taking care of someone infected with COVID-19 in close settings (at home or in a health care facility). When wearing a mask, do not neglect other essential preventative measures. Wash hands before and after touching your mask. Complete surgical mask instructions can be found at the World Health Organization. Facemasks are required.
