The Immunization Clinic is a Walk-In Clinic. No Appointment Needed
Hours of Operation 
M-W   7:30 a.m. - Noon and 12:45 p.m. - 4 p.m. 
Thursday 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. 
Friday 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Closed on Federal Holidays and Medical Group and 35FW down days

Notes
1. TB tests are not placed on Thursdays because they require a follow-up visit 48-72 hours later

2. Smallpox groups are seen on Thursdays at 3 p.m.

3. The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommends that persons be observed for 15 to 20 minutes after being immunized; per AFJI 48-110

Special Note: All retirees and dependents requiring immunizations must bring any Shot Records from non-Air Force medical facilities (2766c or PHS731 Certificate of Vaccination).

The 35th MDOS Mental Health Flight is comprised of the Mental Health Clinic, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment Program (ADAPT), the Family Advocacy Program, Resiliency Element (RE) and The Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP).

Hours: The Mental Health Flight is open Mon, Tues, Wed, & Fri from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Thurs from 8 a.m - 4:30 p.m.

Mental Health Confidentiality: IAW AFI 44-172:
"Confidentiality is essential to providing effective mental care. While mental health professionals have an obligation to make notifications to commanders in specific situations, they will operate from a presumption of non-notification. Mental health professionals will presume that they are not to notify a member's commander when a member obtains mental health services."

- We will only notify command in the following situations:
- Intent to harm self of another
- Intent to harm mission
- Child/partner maltreatment
- Substance abuse
- Currently on PRP/PSP status
- Duty limiting conditions
- Threat to national security

The 35th Medical Operation Squadron, Pediatric Clinic is your medical home. The Pediatric Clinic provides primary care to all enrolled TRICARE Prime beneficiaries, as well as DODDS and DOD contractor dependants from newborns to age 21. The Pediatric Team consists of two pediatricians, one nurse, and two medical technicians. The Peds Team mission is to provide holistic, efficient, evidence-based medical care to meet the individual need of each patient, thus embracing the concept of the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH).

PCMH focuses on the patient being the center of healthcare and the driver of care rather than a passive recipient. PCMH provides care that is truly patient-centered, considers patients' cultural traditions, personal preferences and values, family situations and lifestyles. It makes the patient and their loved ones an integral part of the care team who collaborate with healthcare professionals in making clinical decisions.

Patient centered care puts responsibility for important aspects of self-care and monitoring in the patient's hands, along with the tools and support they need to carry out that responsibility. Patient-centered care ensures transitions between providers and healthcare settings are respectful, coordinated and efficient.

Call the Peds nurse for advice/homecare instructions for your family if you do not know if you need an appointment or not.

Parents of pediatric patients requesting medication refills may call the pharmacy refill line or leave a Telephone Consult (TCON) for the Peds RN via the appointment line. The Peds Team RN will review the request and process within 72 hours business hours.

Parents of pediatric patients requesting paperwork completion may drop off requests and supporting documents, completely filled out, at Family Health Desk. The Peds Team will review the request and process the paperwork as indicated within 72 business hours.

Walk-in nursing services are available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.  - 9:30 a.m.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy is a referral clinic meaning we need a referral from a Medical Provider. We have one Physical Therapist that evaluates and treats neuromusculoskeletal injuries. We provide crutches for pre operative conditions. The therapist can provide measurements for MEB's.

Important Notes:
Members are to wear gym attire to appointments to allow movement and access to the area(s) being treated.

Urgent Care Center
The UCC is open 24 hours a day to treat your urgent medical needs such as: bone fractures, severe dehydration, high fevers, etc... Additionally, the UCC is available when the MDG is closed for training or holidays. Standard of practice in an Urgent Care Center is that prioritization of patient treatment is based on the severity of the condition, as assessed and determined by medical personnel. In case you did not know, the UCC also provides ambulance response to Misawa AB 24/7/365. Our motto is Warrior Medics...ICHI DAN (One Team)!
