Colonel Benjiman W. Davis is the Commander, 35th Maintenance Group, 35th Fighter Wing, Misawa Air Base, Japan. He is responsible for approximately 1,000 aircraft maintenance personnel who perform on and off- equipment maintenance on 44 F-16CJ aircraft, an O&M budget of over $1 million, a $200 million equipment account, and the daily operations of Pacific Air Forces' regional jet engine intermediate maintenance facility that provides over 156 operational F110 engines valued at over $500 million to three F-16 fighter wings.

Colonel Davis hails from Spartanburg, South Carolina. He received his commission in May 1990 after graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy with military distinction. He has served in numerous aircraft maintenance, acquisition and logistics positions at the squadron, wing, center and Air Staff levels. He has commanded maintenance squadrons at two bases in Europe, led fighter aircraft sustainment at the Air Staff, served as deputy director of the Air Force Executive Action Group, and is a Joint Qualified Officer. He holds the basic parachutist, master aircraft maintenance and munitions, and logistics readiness badges. Prior to assuming his current position, he was the Deputy Program Executive Officer, Information Operations at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and later Commander, DLA Support Team - Middle East, Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
