Walking away

Staff Sgt. Jordan Churchill and Airman 1st Class Sovann Din, both 35th Maintenance Squadron crash recovery and wheel and tire team members, walk away from the F-16 Fighting Falcon during Pacific Partners Air Festival at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Sept. 9, 2017. The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft. It is highly maneuverable and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack. It provides a relatively low-cost, high-performance weapon system for the United States and allied nations. Throughout the day there was live musical performances by the Northern Air Defense Force and the Pacific Air Forces Band, local and American-style foods and aerial demonstrations by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
