Sweatin’ the small stuff: CES makes roads clean and safe
Members of the 35th Civil Engineer Squadron pavement and construction shop fill cracks in the road on Freedom Drive with hot asphalt at Misawa Air Base, Japan, June 27, 2012. This project is done every summer throughout the base to expand the life cycle of the roads. The hot asphalt sealant can only be applied to roads when the outside temperature is 65 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Kenna Jackson/Released)
