Recently one of our Airman Roll Calls addressed the subject of recognition.

It emphasized how Airmen make extraordinary personal and professional sacrifices to ensure the Air Force accomplishes its mission. The outstanding accomplishments of our Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and civilians deserve recognition.

There are several ways to provide recognition to those who work for you and around you. Some ways include quarterly awards, letters of appreciation and even a simple thank you. Taking the time out to highlight the accomplishments of our hard-working Airmen is important considering all that's asked of them on a daily basis.

More information about Air Force awards can be found in AFI-36-2803. For information on quarterly and annual award programs, contact your unit awards representative or the military personnel flight.

Congratulations to our recent annual award winners - they truly reflect the hard work Team Misawa put forth in 2007.

As we get into full swing in 2008, let's keep in mind that even a small amount of recognition goes a long way towards motivating others. Thank you for all you do Team Misawa!
