Welcome to the Misawa Air Base, Japan, Passenger Terminal!

Misawa Air Base is located in northern Japan in Aomori prefecture. It is our pleasure to move passengers within the Pacific theater and to CONUS locations. Our primary goal is to make your travel aboard AMC military and commercially contracted flights comfortable and enjoyable.

Space available seats are often limited; therefore, passengers considering travel through Misawa should be flexible in their travel plans.

UC-35 and C-12 type aircraft have a 30 lb total baggage allowance limit. C-13, C-17, C-5, KC-10 and KC-135 aircraft have a baggage allowance limit of 140 lbs total weight (two bags per person at 70 lbs each). (((carry on information))))

Misawa currently supports a regularly scheduled Patriot Express B767 flight to Osan Air Base, Korea, each Monday and a Patriot Express flight to Seattle, Washington, each Tuesday. Further, each Wednesday a regularly scheduled KC-135 MedEvac mission offers Space-A seats to Osan, Yokota, or Kadena depending on the mission routing that week. (Be advised that MedEvac flights are flown only as needed so even though this is a scheduled flight it is often canceled if there are no MedEvac requirements.)

Please be aware of our Space-A roll call procedures. Travelers will need to show up at the Passenger Terminal 30 minutes prior to Space-A calls to indicate your presence. Further information can be provided by our Passenger Service Agents.

Please be advised there is a $27.40 head tax/inspection fee for Space-A passengers traveling aboard the Patriot Express to Seattle.

All questions can be addressed by calling, e-mailing, or visiting the AMC Passenger Terminal at the numbers listed
above. We here at AMC ATGHS Misawa pride ourselves on doing anything possible to make your Space A experience an
enjoyable one.
